Who are we and what problem we focus on?

Every company, regardless of its size deals with market intelligence, but providing market intelligence is expensive and a lack of market intelligence solutions makes companies do it (internal IT solutions, avoidance of outsourcing, re-researching, etc.) themselves instead of focusing on their core business. As a consequence, companies waste their time and money or even worse, take bad decision based on wrong / insufficient information.

Midesk, a Next Media Accelerator-portfolio company, is an AI-powered market intelligence platform for companies of all sizes that deal with market data, market reports, competitive intelligence and media monitoring. We have been developing a standard for Market Intelligence work that's been missing on the market.

Sales Manager

Level: Manager - Experienced | Location: Hamburg | Type: Part-time or Full-time

What do we need?

Midesk has an immediate need for a hardworking and dedicated salesperson. Our day to day is very fast paced and we are looking for someone who thrives in that environment. This role will consist not only of hunting for new business, but also giving demos, following up with clients, and ultimately closing them. It’s a full cycle sales role.

Mandatory Skills

  • Able to identify, develop and close deals with leads
  • More than 2 years of direct sales experience
  • High-energy, coachable & an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience and comfort selling on the phone
  • Experience selling software or technology products
  • Very strong written communication
  • Very good at presenting
  • Experience cold emailing / calling
  • Self-starter, strong organization skills
  • BS, BA degree or equivalent
  • Very good English and German (team communications in English)

Bonus Skills

  • Experience in Market Intelligence or Market Research or Media monitoring work
  • Experience selling SaaS services
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Experience introducing new products to market
  • Experience working in a start-up environment
  • Experience conceptualizing and implementing a sales process

Aspiring Full-Stack Developer

Level: Entry - Junior | Location: Independent, preferred in Hamburg | Type: Part-time or Full-time

What do we need?

Midesk has an immediate need for a hardworking and dedicated programmer. Our day to day is very fast paced and we are looking for someone who thrives in that environment. This role will consist not only of working on cross-tech work packages, but also you will touch product design and UX/UI.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong in one of the following: Laraver (you know what route model binding is, are not afraid of policies and queue debugging), Angular (you can write lazy loaded modules with EntryComponents, understand state managers and love shorthands), NodeJS + TensorflowJS (you can train & deploy your own models)
  • Basic experience with another of the mentioned technologies
  • Experience with Git
  • Good at English, German, Czech or Slovak (team communications in English)

Bonus Skills

  • Experience designing UX/UI
  • Experience with Scrum / Sprints
  • Experience working with other developers
